LBD Woes

I had the horrifying realization at about 12 in the morning last night that I don't own a Little Black Dress a.k.a. LBD. Seriously my pseudo-fashionista license should be revoked. So I need to amend this situation. Even though I probably should have been getting ready for bed I fiendishly looked up potential contenders.

My basic rules included:

a) no embellishments, like glitter or giant flowers

b) no patterns

c) slightly above the knee

d) good material that can easily transition between the seasons.

I figure this should be an investment purchase. Not because everyone needs an LBD, but because it's a practical option. It can become a completely different look with different accessories.

So these are what I found.

I'm debating the pros and cons of signing up for a PayPal account.

Pro: I tend to obsess over specific clothing items that might not easily be found in stores.

These shoes for example:

Con: I don't really want to get addicted. I can imagine it's easy to just spend spend spend when you're not physically dealing with the cash and simply sitting at a computer. Although as long as I remind myself about that I'm sure I can handle it.

Extraordinary jellybeans

My purchases from Forever 21. These are from yesterday. I like the shirt it's very spring and there is a hint of the skirt. I can't figure out a good way to get a picture of the skirt.

I on the other hand, am not really happy with this shirt that I got in Florida.

For one it's a little loose in the front, and the sleeves are really long and billow-y. I figure I can use some safety pins, or sew up the sides a little.

So yeah, I've learned my lesson. I hate waiting for dressing rooms, but I should definitely try things on. I'm not a dumbass anymore.
